KIERAN KELLEHER
Based in Cork, Ireland I am a graduate of Film & Screen Media at University College Cork and I like to focus on writing, editing and directing. I love the collaboration process in filmmaking and always look forward to achieving something new with each project. learning from past and present masters of film helps me to explore what it means to be me and what it means to be us in this great medium of images and sound.

The Placebo Effect. A puzzle narrative film. Hypnotist Liz Considine must figure out why a fellow hypnotist's wife Pam is planning on killing her husband. The more Liz investigates the more she realises not all is as it seems. Filmed in 2017 and shot with the Canon C100 this was my final year thesis film at University College Cork.
Compulsion. A drama short film following one man's journey to overcome past failures and rebuild his relationship with his musician daughter Amy. Filmed in 2016 and shot with the Canon 5D and 7D this was a collaborative process with fellow Film & Screen Media students and local talent.
ScarfFace. A comedy film. Undercover agent Kenny's deep cover has affected his judgement severely and he has fallen in love with his scarf. When drug dealer Johnny Banger learns of this development he attempts to strangle Kenny with the scarf to hilarious effect. My first directed film and shot with a Canon 5D and 7D.
New Wave: Cork's Comic Book Revolution. A documentary film shot with fellow students in UCC celebrating the creative stars of the comic book industry based in and around Cork. Shot in 2016 with a Canon 5D and 7D.
